The upholstery design process
The process of taking your favourite piece of furniture and transforming it into something really special is something that I really enjoy.
My approach to upholstery design is a collaborative one and I love hearing what a piece of furniture really means to you and your different ideas to breath new life into it for many more years to come.
Ultimately I'll be happy when you're happy so; whether it’s a chair, a sofa, a foot stool, headboard or anything else, here’s the typical way it works with Beastly & Beautiful one that’s designed to make it as easy as possible for you:
~
The Work
Strip back to the bare frame or simple recover? We’ll discuss and agree the best way to restore your furniture.
The right amount of upholstery work to deliver what you want and which doesn’t cost the earth.
The Brief
Everything begins with photos of your piece of furniture. Email or text them through and we’ll talk by phone.
The furniture’s history, what it means to you,
your plans for its future. We’ll have a creative brief in no time.
The Fabric
Then the choice of fabric: do you already have a fabric in mind or do you want me to source one for you?
The Quote
From the photos, our discussion, plus a few simple measurements of your piece of furniture I’ll provide you with a competitive all-inclusive estimate.
Collection
and
Delivery
And assuming you’re happy with my estimate, we’ll arrange furniture collection or delivery to the Beastly & Beautiful studio and agree a convenient date for its return.
Sounds simple right?
That's because we make it so.
